Amira Diaw (b. 2002, Austin, TX) is an artist based in Chicago, Illinois. She is currently pursuing BFA from School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Diaw’s paintings reiterate kinship through mobilization of history archive, in which domestic spaces are estranged from its contextual narrative, between 1970s through early 2000s. Amira has exhibited work with John St Gallery (2024), Point Blank Gallery (2024), and Gure (2025). She is now studying at Beaux Arts de Paris.
